• First year resident at Internal Medicine department, King Khalid National Guard Hospital, Jeddah, October 1997 for one year.
• Demonstrator at Department of Medicine, KAU, end of 1998 till June 1999.
• Internal Medicine resident at the Internal Medicine Residency Program,
University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, BC, Canada, July 1999 till June 2002.
• Neurology resident at adult neurology program, UBC, Vancouver, BC, Canada, July 2002 till June 2005.
• Fellow, Parkinson’s Pacific Research’s Program (PPRP) for Movement Disorders, UBC, Vancouver, BC, September 2005 till August 2006. Trained under direct supervision of Professors A Jon Stoessl and Joseph Choi to manage different movement disorders as well as treating different types of dystonia involving face, neck and limbs with Botox injections.
